Volunteering with a local Citizens Advice is a great way to pick up skills, make friends and feel part of an enthusiastic team.  And it’s not just worthwhile; volunteering can also be fantastic fun and hugely rewarding.  There are over 21,500 volunteers in the Citizens Advice service nationally but we still need new volunteers every year to help us meet the growing demand for advice.

Want to make a difference in your community? Then become a Trustee on our Board. 
Citizens Advice Nottingham and District provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to people facing a variety of problems, ranging from debt, benefits, housing, employment, relationships and consumer matters.  In addition, we gather evidence to influence policy and inform service developments which meet the needs of our local population.  We also campaign on big issues that affect people’s lives.
As a team of trustees, volunteers and staff, we are committed to providing high quality advice and support for the diverse population of Nottingham and surrounding district.
We have opportunities for three people to join our active Board who are committed and passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the lives of people and families in our communities.  We are looking for people from a range of backgrounds, skills and experiences including legal, fundraising and marketing, but who mainly have the experience to help move us forward in an ever-changing and challenging world.
