Volunteers in a Client Support Role

At Citizens Advice Nottingham, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. We would not be here without the amazing people who give up their time to help us help others. We are currently recruiting new volunteers to work directly with clients, ensuring that people get the advice, information and support they need to mover forwards, whatever their problem. If you have a day a week to spare (or two half days) and want to make a positive difference to people’s lives, this could be for you.

We are holding a Volunteering Event on Friday 15 November, from 10am to 12pm. This will be at our office on Maid Marion Way. It is open to anyone who would like to volunteer, or who is interested in finding out more. We will cover who we are, what we do, what our training programme involves and how you will support clients if you join our volunteer team. One of our volunteers will also be there to talk to you about their own experience with us.

To book your place at the event, please scan the QR Code below, or click on the link.

You are welcome to apply to volunteer, whether or not you are able to attend the Volunteer Event. You can find our application pack at the bottom of this page. The cut off date for applications is Monday 25 November 2024. We will have informal interviews for shortlisted applicants in the week commencing 9 December.

Please email volunteer@citizensadvicenottingham.org.uk with any queries, or to return your completed application form. Alternatively, applications can be posted to us at: Citizens Advice Nottingham and District, 16-18 Maid Marian Way, Nottingham, NG1 6HS.
