If you are on a low income you can get help with your water bill via the Severn Trent Big Discount Scheme. Please note the Big Difference Scheme is reported to Credit Reference Agencies. You will find more information here:
Broadband
Most broadband providers offer a cheaper ‘social tariff’ to customers who are in receipt of means tested benefits. You can contact your provider for more information or read about it on the Ofcom website here:

Disrepair in rented accommodation

If you are a city resident, your landlord does not carry out repairs in a reasonable time, or the problem is affecting your health, you can ask for help from the Nottingham Safer Housing Team who can be contacted by telephone 0115 915 2020 or email to saferhousing@nottinghamcity.gov.uk.
