Universal Support Worker

(Universal Support – Help to Claim Team)

Up to 37 hours per week (variable)

£18,870 p.a. (full-time – 37 hours per week)

Location: Based in Nottingham city and working across Nottingham city, and in Gedling and Rushcliffe Boroughs

We are looking for people to join our Universal Support Help to Claim team.  The team provides an effective and efficient support service for first time Universal Credit claimants.  The service includes the provision of advice, information and digital support via face-to-face, telephone and digital channels, aimed at helping claimants through to the first payment of Universal Credit. 

We need people proficient in IT with effective communication skills.  Knowledge and experience of welfare benefits advice is desirable.

The Help to Claim service operates Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.  Successful applicants will work up to 37 hours per week.
